Join your fellow IES members for dinner and lecture at Cloud Brewing! Learn the effects of chrono-biologically driven dynamic lighting on office workers’ well-being, sleep quality and physiology. Lisa Bertolino, CLEP, Southeast RSM Zumtobel Lighting will be our guest speaker for the evening.
Attendees will learn about:
- The basics of human-centric lighting and how lighting in offices affects the well-being of people
- Trends in working styles and office environments
- An ecosystem approach to human-centric lighting of ˜Right Light in Time”,˜Right Light for the Task” and ˜Right Light for You”
- Understand what constitutes the ˜Best Light for Offices”, going beyond the light fixture to the needs and preferences of people
This lecture qualifies for 1 AIA CES/ 1 LEU
Dinner is included in the cost of the program. A 3-course plated dinner with limited entrée choices and includes soft drinks and tea. Cash bar on site.

Lisa has guest lectured at several Northern Virginia Universities within their lighting curriculums. She has been very active nationally for the IES on the College and University Liaison, Marketing and IIDA Judging committees. She also served locally on the IES Capital Section in all roles including the President and on the Board of Managers. She was awarded the prestigious Presidential Award and Meritorious Award for her years of service and dedication to the IESNA.
